Joaquin Anzu

Senior Pastor

Pastor Joaquin was born and raised in Mexico. He came to the United States in 1988.

He has been blessed being married to Vianey Anzu since 1994. The Lord has blessed them with three wonderful daughters. Both he and his wife gave their lives to the Lord Jesus Christ in January of 1995 at Calvary Chapel Golden Springs in Diamond Bar, California.

Shortly after, they both started serving the Lord at Calvary Chapel Golden Springs and also in their martial arts school in La Puente, California. From their martial arts school the Lord raised up a small church until 2016 when the Lord called him to be the Senior Pastor at Calvary Chapel Claremont.

He is still working at the martial arts school, reaching out to students and their parents in the name of Jesus.

He, his wife Vianey, and daughters are actively serving at Calvary Chapel Claremont.
